Summer Festivals and Events in Fort Collins
Do you love craft beer? On May 26, from 1-6 pm, craft beer aficionados will come together for Odell Brewing Company’s biggest event of the year. They’ll be pouring more than 40 different Odell beers, with 5 live bands including the Gasoline Lolipops, and food from some of Fort Collins’ best food trucks. People are encouraged to ride their bikes, which is a no brainer, since Odell Brewing Company is less than a mile from Confluence Fort Collins! May 31st through August 2nd
Fort Collins has a vibrant music scene, and thanks to a local non-profit, we can enjoy weekly live music in Old Town Square completely free. Every Thursday from May 31st through August 2nd at 7 pm, Bohemian Nights presents Thursday Night Live, featuring Colorado’s finest and emerging musical talents.
The Cache la Poudre River plays a huge role in our community, and the Poudre RiverFest aims to celebrate that. This is a free, family-friendly festival that celebrates and educates people about the Cache la Poudre River with live music, beer, food, and fun! Rain or shine, this event is on June 2nd from 12 - 6 pm on the Poudre River Oxbow adjacent to New Belgium Brewery. In other words, this festival will happen in the Confluence Fort Collins backyard!
June 8th through 11th
The Taste of Fort Collins is a 3-day music and food festival! With a huge variety of food from local and national restaurants, music from regional and international musicians, and an exciting display of work from local artisans and crafters, this family-friendly community event has something for everyone. This event is sure to give everyone a taste of what Fort Collins has to offer. There is even a kids zone for the little ones to enjoy! The Taste is from June 8th - 11th and tickets can be purchased now!
June 22nd through 24th
This summer marks the 29th edition of the Colorado Brewers’ Festival in Downtown Fort Collins! The weekend festival will feature 150+ Colorado beers, 40+ Colorado breweries, food vendors, artisan exhibitors, and over ten hours of live music! This event has free festival entry, but if you want to enjoy the brews, you’ll need to purchase a Tasting Package for $40 online and onsite OR just $30 in select Fort Collins Brewery Taprooms. August 10th through 12th
For many people, this event is the highlight of festival season in Fort Collins. Not only is this the largest music festival in Northern Colorado, it is completely FREE to attend. This is an epic three-day event that brings people to town from all over the region to see the local, national, and internationally acclaimed music acts perform right in Old Town Fort Collins. New West Fest also features art, specialty food, artisan vendors, a kids area, and carnival rides. The 2018 lineup hasn’t been announced yet, so stay tuned for details!
When you think of Colorado, you may not think of peaches, but you should! Colorado Palisade peaches are so good, we have a festival to celebrate them. On August 18th from 9 am - 5 pm you can enjoy all things peaches: peach beer, peach pie, peach margaritas… you get the idea. You’ll also find live music, food vendors, kids activities, and more.
Bikes, beers, and bemusement is the slogan of Tour de Fat and nicely sums up what the experience is like. On September 1st, you are encouraged to dress up as your alter ego, ride your bike, and get weird!
